By Adele Treskillard

In 1500 B.C., Tiwyr, an exiled warrior, must leave his homeland and ride into the Otherworld of Lidiness to escape the judgement of the King who murdered his father.

There he finds a young bard, Arlok, deep in trouble and torture. Arlok guards the secret words of a spell capable of raising an invincible fortress. Every evil in Lidiness craves such power!

As they grapple with witches, demon-possessed murderers, shape-shifters, spies, and the living dead, Tiwyr becomes a wild, kilted chieftain intent to help Arlok survive. But Tiwyr is betrayed to his enemies, and Arlok must face his foes alone.

In despair and losing his mind ... can Arlok find a way out? Or will the Sky Fortress be raised, and evil conquer the land of Britain?

Adele has created a mythical land based on hidden folktales and legends
of England, Ireland, Cornwall, Wales, Scotland, and Scandinavia.

With her grasp of the ancient languages and worldviews of these distant peoples,
she has endowed her first novel, Wolf's Bard, with fearful action, singing adventure—
and heroes that live, breathe, and take up the mantle of greatness.
