King Arthur Book Progress Report

I am now 76% done, and my projected finish date for draft 1 has moved up to June 11th!

High King Uther has just made his long awaited appearance. With him are his wife, two daughters, and what happens to be a young son—Arthur. Not to mention his battle-chief Vortigern and about forty warriors. (Yes, Vortigern’s appearance in this way is a divergence from the traditional legends … I have my own twist on this.)

And so from this point forward the book will feel much more Arthurian, although those with a discerning eye would have already picked out many, many themes from the legends.
